Legal Advisor Latam (located in Panamá)

With the support of our network of corporate lawyers in each country, and having a direct impact on the organizational design, the candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the legal strategy in Latam Region.

Main duties:
• Advise on all legal matters which affect the region.
• In charge of the assessment of the subsidiaries in Latin America.
• Coordinate the necessary steps to reach an optimized legal structure, aligned both with local regulations and operational and strategic goals.
• Advise the different subsidiaries in order to ensure that Zed’s activities comply with the legislation of the different countries in which we operate.
• Examine the legal aspects in relation to legislation for publicity, consumers and users, data protection, intellectual property, contracts with connectivity operators and suppliers, and any other type of contract in general, patents and intellectual property.
• Define the legal parameters related to new products, promotions and services.
• Permanent travels all over Latin America are necessary.

The legal background should be preferably acquired within international Law/Consulting/Audit firms, and the global vision of the business through an MBA or relevant experience (at least 5 years experience having filled in positions of responsibility within the audiovisual/music/entertainment sectors).
