Service Manager / Project Manager
SUMMARY
The Service Manager is responsible for working with clients to help facilitate business needs and requests for their customer base. This position will recruit and hire prospective employees, management of field personnel, financial & sales responsibilities, creation and negotiation of contracts, productivity metrics creation and implementation, and office administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Provides support to all levels of management and personnel
Ø Manages field employees including employee contracts, contract reviews, employee performance evaluations, identifying training and job assignment, mobilization of field employees, and addressing daily employee needs and requests
Ø Manages sales and financial responsibilities including inventory analysis, accounts receivable, invoice review, and Operating Plan targets
Ø Assists with recruiting and hiring prospective employees by interviewing candidates and assessing job qualifications
Ø Works closely with the clients to successfully accommodate all business needs.
Ø Mobilization Logistics – Oversee the mobilization/demobilization process for their field employees
Ø Contract/Assignment Letters Logistics – Contract review and negotiation of terms and conditions
Ø Employee Relations – Maintain positive employee relations and resolve employee performance issues in a timely manner.
Ø Keeps information accurate and updated in all systems – Oracle, FSM, etc
Ø Obtains complete job mobilization data, employee feedback, and weekly reports.
Ø Assists with HR issues, employee safety issues, Time & Expense review/approval, company initiatives, and other office related activities
Ø Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ø Exercise excellent customer service skills
Ø Excellent communication and management skills
Ø Possess troubleshooting and problem solving
Ø Strong interpersonal skills ability to work with all levels of employees
Ø Understand office formats and procedures, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
Ø English fluency is a must
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with minimum three to five years project management experience experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience.
