Euromonitor International seeks In-Country Market Research Analysts, who work on a per project basis from a home-office, conducting full-time research studies on consumer goods markets in Venezuela. Core responsibilities include primary and secondary research data manipulation, validation and analysis and report writing and editing in English.

Our projects
Our research would address questions similar to the following questions in order to deliver insightful business intelligence to clients:
• How much fruit juice was consumed in the Dominican Republic in 2008? How does this compare to the previous year?
• Who are the leading companies in shampoo? What share is held by the leading brands?
• Is there a market for my product? What channels should we sell through? Who are our competitors and how should we position our offering to best effect?
A successful candidate will be located in Venezuela and must be analytical and detail-oriented. A strong background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable.
Skill requirements:
• High level of numeracy
• Familiarity with consumer goods markets in the
Venezuela
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and
Windows and Internet searches
• Research track record
• Project management and editorial skills an advantage
